Transaction: Borrower Representation – Refinance of Apartment Complex

We represented the Borrower and its general partner in a $12 million refinancing transaction. The loan was secured by twenty-five apartment buildings consisting of 217 units. Over the course of a year, we worked with the Lender’s counsel in Washington D.C., as well as Fannie Mae and HUD to clear an extensive list of corporate governance, zoning and licensing, and financial matters and to close the transaction.
